Second Training Seminar on Anticorruption Topics for High School Students in Sliven
The second training seminar for high school students on anticorruption topics took place in the period 10 - 12 September, 2004 Slivenski mineralni bani resort. The trainings were initiated by the Board of Trustees of Dobri Chintulov Secondary School in Sliven in the framework of the Civil Society Against Corruption Program of Coalition 2000.

The major topics of discussion during the second seminar were:
• Acquainting students with the legal framework defining the rights and obligations of citizens and regulating anticorruption activities: the Constitution, the Code of Civl Procedure, the Law on Obligations and Contracts, etc.;
• Presenting the respective organs responsible for protection of civil rights and implementation of the laws: police, investigation, courts, prosecution, labor inspections, organizations protecting the rights of consumers, syndicates, professional associations, organizations for civil rights protection, etc.

The first training seminar took place in June, 2004 and attracted over 20 high-school students from Sliven. The major topics and skills that were presented during the first training seminar included:

• Team-building and conflict resolution;
• Communication skills, problem-solving skills and presentation skills;
• Definitions for corruption;
• The health insurance system in Bulgaria;
• Corruption in Bulgaria.

The last training seminar will take place on September 25, 26 and 27, 2004 in Sliven.
